In the spirit of love to mark the 2020 Valentine season, the Mario and Juliet brand went on an outreach to Lagos Island Maternity Hospital.
Lagos Island Maternity Hospital is one of the oldest maternities in Lagos State. Established in 1959, it is regarded as the busiest maternity on Lagos Island. It oversees the birth of more than thirty children every week.
The team from Mario and Juliet was led by the brand Head of Marketing and Communications, Onwubuche Tobechi Chidimma, accompanied by the brand’s celebrity ambassador, Mercy Eke, and one of Nigeria’s biggest brands influencers and celebrity father, Cubana Chief Priest.
While the visit provided an opportunity for the brand to interact directly with nursing mothers, pregnant women, and nurses, Onwubuche Tobechi seized the opportunity to discuss the brand’s value proposition with these stakeholders, mentioning its super absorbency, hypoallergenic surface that accommodates sensitive skins as well as its optimum elasticity that ensures maximum baby comfort.
Nursing mothers and pregnant women were later thrilled to receive Jumbo-size diapers and cartons of wipes as valentine gifts from the brand even as they expressed so much delight and joy at the meeting face to face with the brand’s celebrity ambassadors.
